Lego Star Wars Toys - Anakin's Jedi Starfighter #7669
Another one of the Lego Star Wars Toys that would be ideal for boys of any age is Lego set #7669, Anakin's Jedi Starfighter.
This set will cost you around $19 depending on where you purchase it.
It's one of the mid-range sets as far as price goes and seems to be a pretty good deal compared to some of the other Lego Star Wars Toys available.
Michael and I love to play and build with Legos and the Star Wars series of Legos are cool little toys to collect that will last for years to come.
This set is advertised for ages 7-12 and contains 153 Lego pieces. Anakin's Jedi Starfighter is part of the Clone Wars Lego series.
Like all other Lego Star Wars toys this one comes with some easy to follow step-by-step instruction that will have you on your way to creating your very own Starfighter.
It takes a little time to put this set together because of the smaller pieces involved but not too long as to make it tedious.
You can see from the pictures and the video that this Starfighter is a neat looking ship, with lots of little details that make it look and function like the real thing (not that there is a real Jedi Starfighter flying around).
The following are some of the features of this set:
Anakin Figure with Light Saber
Retractable Landing Gear
Eject Button for R2-D2
Missiles That Fire With A Flick of The Finger(Not Very Far)
Wings Move Up and Down
Measures 10 Inches
This set is almost worth the price just to have a little R2-D2 and Anakin Figure. Anakin doesn't come with a helmet, but he does come with removable hair piece that Michael gets a kick out of.
There is a button in the rear of the Starfighter that you can hit to make R2-D2 pop up out of the plane. It's not like he flies high up in the air but you can get him to at least pop up and out of the ship.
There's also a little blue Light Saber for Anakin to hold when he's not flying the Starfighter. One little feature that I didn't discover until I put the wings on is the fact that they rotate up and down.
You can take the canopy off to remove Anakin from the Starfighter while R2 just sits in an area just forward of the cockpit.
There are also three separate legs that comprise the landing gear underneath the Jedi Starfighter that moves up and down, a nice little feature that makes it easy to display.
This would be a great Lego set for any boy who likes Legos and is in to Star Wars, especially considering the price and the features it contains.
This is a nice little step up from one of the cheap Star Wars Lego sets available. Michael and I both recommend this set for boys of almost any age.
Michael gives Anakin's Jedi Starfighter Lego Set 5 Stars.
