Looking for cheap Star Wars Legos? This review of the Star Wars Lego set #7667 Imperial Dropship is a great example of a cheap Star Wars Lego set that is fun and entertaining and yet easy on the wallet.
There are a lot of cool Star Wars Lego sets out there but many of them are quite expensive and unless you want to drop $50 to $100 you're left with just a few other choices.
The Imperial Dropship, as well as the Rebel Scout Speeder are ideal for those getting started in collecting the Star Wars Lego sets or for those that just want to experience the fun of playing with these cool little Lego sets without spending too much money.
Both the Rebel Scout Speeder and the Imperial Dropship are priced at under $10, and both provide plenty of pretend play fun for boys of all ages.
These sets are tons of fun to build, even if your little boy is not quite old enough to do it himself. It's fun to have Michael sit by my side as I follow the easy instructions to build these little vehicles.
This set is advertised as being for children ages 6-12, but I think boys younger than six would have fun playing with this set as well.
The Imperial Dropship is a cool looking little Star Wars vehicle that doesn't take long to put together, and like almost all Lego toys, is durable enough to withstand extended play without breaking into a thousand little pieces.
This set includes 81 pieces with the following features and accessories;
1 Shadow Stormtrooper Pilot
4 Laser Guns
Detachable Troop Platform
Cockpit That Opens and Closes
Rear Wing Area That Rotates Up and Down
Places To Hold Extra Laser Gun
Not only does this little set look cool once it's together, but you also get four little Lego figures with the pack- three white stormtroopers and one black stormtrooper to sit in the pilot's seat behind the cockpit shield.
The laser guns fit right in the hands of the stormtroopers or in holes on the ship itself. The stormtroopers ride on the detachable platform in the back and once you've landed the ship you can drop the troops off into battle.
In order to detach the troop platform you must raise the rear wing area and it slides right off. Slide it back into place, lower the rear wings and you're ready to take off again.
This is a fun little set and one that Michael has enjoyed playing with. I enjoyed putting it together for him as well. If you get this set along with the Rebel Scout Speeder you can have a little pretend battle between the two.
These cheap Star Wars Legos would make an ideal gift for a family member or friend too!
Michael gives the Imperial Dropship Star Wars Lego Set #7667 5 Stars.
